Walk Information

• All online registrations include entry into the event, a complimentary Walk from Obesity shirt & bag, and an online participant page. 

• Register children under the age of 12 for FREE at the event. (see below for more info)

• This is a "set your own pace" event. Choose the distance that works best for you! 

• Rain or shine event - sorry, no refunds. 

• Help spread the word - Download our printable flyer!

• Funds raised through this event support the mission of TREO Foundation, a 501(c)(3) nonprofit that supports Treatment, Research, and Education to end Obesity.

Registration and Fundraising Details

Registration

• Register as an Individual, Join a Team, or Start a Team!
• All registered participants will receive a WFO shirt and bag at the event - while supplies last! Please choose your preferred size when registering. 
• Online registration is $30 and will be available until Friday, September 27, 2024, at 1:00 PM EST. Click "Register Now!" at the top of this page. Anyone 12 or older should register online as an adult.
• Participants who register online receive an online participant/fundraising page. 
• Registration at the Walk will be $35. On-site registration will open at 10:00 AM. Only cash or checks will be accepted onsite. 
• Register children (under 12) using the paper registration form. Access the paper form in the "Resources" section after registering. A registered parent must accompany children. Child participants will receive a bag and a free coloring/activity book while supplies last. We also offer an optional coloring contest on the paper registration form. Note: If you wish for your child to be entered into the coloring contest, please print and complete the coloring form before the event.  A prize will be awarded to one winner. 

Participants Receive a WFO Shirt & Bag at the Event!

Sizes (Small-5X) are available on a first-come, first-served basis while supplies last! 

Fundraising

We encourage participants to be fundraisers and help us meet our event fundraising goal - supporting TREO Foundation! Please utilize the online fundraising tools to invite friends and family to help you reach your goal. You may also sync your fundraising efforts to a Facebook Fundraiser. It's the easiest way to fundraise!    

Also, while raising money for a great cause, you can win some great prizes, receive online achievement badges on your participant page, and a trophy will be awarded to the top fundraising individual and top fundraising team at the Walk!  See our Resource Center for a list of fundraising prizes, social media graphics, fundraising tips, and more!

Not registering online? You can still be a fundraiser by collecting donations in-person. Print our pledge form and mail your collected donations to TREO Foundation or turn them in at the Walk.
